Sunday School meets at 10 a.m - the same time as our Sunday church service - and lasts one hour. Our Sunday School is open to all children and young people from the community up to 20 years old.

(We provide free childcare for infants and young children to age three.)

About the Classes

All Sunday School teaching is based on the
King James Version of the Bible and the
Christian Science textbook, Science and Health
With Key to the Scriptures
by Founder Mary
Baker Eddy. The textbook helps explain the spiritual meaning of the Bible.

Sunday School students learn about God and
His ever-present care. They learn about prayer and its healing power, as well as the relevance of Christ Jesus’ teachings in their own lives.

Students are placed in classes according to age or grade. Class discussions focus on giving students the spiritual truths they need to meet the many challenges facing young people today.

Among the first lessons taught: The Ten Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer with its Spiritual Interpretation given by Mary Baker Eddy, Christ Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, as well as Bible stories and healings from both the Old and New Testaments.

Older students study the weekly Bible Lesson
Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly.
Students are encouraged to use what they are learning during the week.
